What this is
A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, complexed with copper.
Three amino acids — glycine, histidine, lysine — and a copper ion. That is the entire molecule. It is the shortest peptide in this catalog by a wide margin, and one of the very few that occurs naturally in human plasma rather than being designed in a lab.
The copper is not an additive or a stabiliser; it is structural. GHK binds copper(II) with high affinity, and the complexed form is what the research literature almost always means when it writes "GHK-Cu". That is also why the material has its characteristic deep blue colour — copper coordination, visible to the eye. If a GHK-Cu preparation is not blue, something is wrong with it.
At 50mg this is the largest single-compound fill in our catalog, which reflects how it is typically used in research: at higher masses than most peptides, in preparations rather than as a trace input.
Research profile
Studied widely in skin and tissue-repair research as a model for copper-peptide signaling and collagen-related, wound-healing pathways.
"Widely" is doing honest work in that sentence. Copper-peptide research is old by peptide standards — GHK was first isolated in the 1970s — so the literature is unusually deep and unusually varied in quality. There is a large body of genuine in-vitro work, and there is also a large body of cosmetic-industry material that is not research in any rigorous sense. Read the sourcing.
Most of the serious published work frames GHK-Cu as a probe for copper-dependent signalling: what happens to matrix-related gene expression and cellular behaviour when copper is delivered in a peptide-bound form rather than as a free ion. Research suggests the bound form behaves differently from free copper, which is the observation the whole field is built on.

Is the copper an additive?
No — it is part of the molecule as researchers use it. "GHK-Cu" means the copper-complexed form, which is what essentially all of the published copper-peptide literature is about.
Why is this vial 50mg when most peptides here are 5-10mg?
Because GHK-Cu is typically worked with at higher masses. The 50mg fill matches how the compound is actually used rather than matching the rest of the catalog for tidiness.
What is the difference between buying this and buying the GLOW blend?
